I thought this was an original of Charles’ for a very long time until I looked it up when the series Big Mouth (on Netflix) came out about a a couple of years ago. They use Charles’ cover as the theme song
I listened to the original then a long time and I think Charles’ gravitas is much much better suited for the emotion of this song.
